Grace VanderWaal's parents are currently the happiest people on the planet. That's because their adored daughter, dubbed 'Amazing Grace,' won the America's Got Talent 2016 competition's grand prize. As the judges and America voted VanderWaal the winner of the show, confetti and accolades poured down on her. Grace VanderWaal's family, including her mother and father, were in attendance to witness her momentous occasion. The AGT 2016 champion is only 12 years old, yet she has already become a national celebrity.

Exceptional Debut:

VanderWaal began apprehensive, but it was evident as soon as she began singing that she has remarkable skill. She performed an original song called "I Don't Know My Name" on her ukulele. She wrote and composed the music for the song herself. The judges were speechless by the time she concluded her song. Simon Cowell dubbed her the "new Taylor Swift," while Howie Mandel hailed her "a living, beautiful, walking miracle."

You're a Star, Baby!:

VanderWaal's parents deserve credit for her success, as they have encouraged and supported her throughout this wonderful journey. VanderWaal was just a typical 12-year-old girl a few weeks ago and is now a household name across the United States. Her admirers have already started uploading cover versions of her song "I Don't Know My Name" to YouTube! You know you've got something great when people start singing your music. Vanderwaal has something exceptional, and America has barely touched the surface of Vanderwaal's musical ability at such a young age.

A Beloved Family:

Tina and Dave VanderWaal gave birth to Grace VanderWaal on January 15, 2004. Jakob, her brother, and Olivia, her sister, are her older siblings. She and her family live in Suffern, New York, with their two dogs. VanderWaal's family is the reason she has accomplished so much at such a young age. Every time the judges have to make a decision, her mother becomes distraught. But now her mother can relax, for it was her daughter who, week after week, blew the competition away, proving that even the biggest champions may come in small packages! Her parents gave her the strength and encouragement she needed to win the competition and realize her million-dollar goal!

In the strictest sense of the phrase, VanderWaal is a prodigy. VanderWaal began singing songs at the age of three, according to her mother, Tina. Talk about getting a head start! Her ukulele was purchased with her own money on her 11th birthday. VanderWaal learnt to play the ukulele by viewing YouTube tutorials, which her parents were completely unaware of. She now has numerous ukuleles and is inseparable from them. VanderWaal began playing in front of small audiences in New Jersey and New York after building confidence from performing in front of her family. Her pals, on the other hand, had no idea VanderWaal could sing so beautifully!

It's Party Time!:

VanderWaal has a bright future ahead of him. She received $1.0 million in prize money and will star in her own show in Las Vegas in October. The music industry may devour her at such a young age, so she will have to rely on her family for advice and support. She's not formed of "Clay," as she stated, and she will not be shaped in any way. Vanderwaal has already come so far thanks to their unwavering support and affection, and it appears like she will be OK. Many teenage musical sensations have lost their way in the past while attempting to traverse the path of adolescence in the spotlight. VanderWaal, who is just twelve years old, appears to be so level-headed and confident in herself that her music will lead her in the right route.

It surely helps that she has such a wonderful family and support system to support her at this exciting time!
