What else is there to say about Grace VanderWaal? Even before she won America's Got Talent, the gifted 12-year-old had become a musical sensation. We can't get enough of her and her ukulele, though. Grace VanderWaal's rabid fan base (which is expanding by the minute) is eager to learn more about her parents, where she lives, her siblings, and her music. But don't worry, we've got all the details on the AGT winner right here!
Parents who are always supportive:
Grace would not have progressed as far as she has without the support and encouragement of her parents. Tina and David VanderWaal have always been proud of their talented daughter. To get their daughter used to performing in front of crowds, they let her participate in open mic evenings. Grace's first performance in front of a large audience was on the AGT stage, and it was all owing to her mother. Tina, thank you for allowing your wonderful daughter to audition!

Siblings Who Are Amazing:
One would assume that having two older siblings would be a nightmare! Grace, on the other hand, is blessed with best friends in the form of her siblings. Grace's best friend is her sister Olivia, who is three years her senior. Jakob, the family's oldest kid, is four years older than Grace and attends Camden Military Academy in South Carolina, which is a long way from the family's Suffern home. He's never seen on AGT like the rest of his family, but he's always there for his baby sister, even when she's not on the show. Not only Jakob, but the entire Camden Academy community has been supporting their student's sister and asking everyone to vote for her.
Her Ukulele Is Strumming:
We can't picture Grace VanderWaal without her ukulele, but there was a time when we couldn't envision the 'Next Taylor Swift' strumming a small four-stringed instrument. Grace, on the other hand, can rock her ukulele as Swift can rock her bejeweled guitar! What's more, what's more, what's more, what's more Grace purchased the ukulele herself on her eleventh birthday. After being charmed by a family member playing the ukulele, she saved up her allowance to purchase the instrument.
A New Star Has Risen:
Tina and Dave recognized their daughter's aptitude when she started writing songs using a wireless microphone at the age of three! They probably didn't expect their little star to be named America's favorite talent and launch a great music career at such a young age. Grace grew her online fan base by posting cover videos of herself singing and strumming her original tunes on the ukulele. Her AGT audition video (in which she sang her original composition "I don't remember my name") went viral, and her YouTube channel attracted a large number of viewers. Grace went viral on the internet in an instant!
